Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), property type, and role.
Property information: Addresses and location data you submit to the Platform for flood hazard assessment.
Inspection data: If you complete a NOAH Inspect assessment, inspection results are collected and linked to your account and property.
Authentication data: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google as part of the OAuth authentication process.
Usage data: Standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of access.

How We Use Your Information

To provide flood hazard scores, resilience assessments, and related services
To create and manage your ClimateGuard account and property portfolio
To communicate with you about your account, assessments, and inspection scheduling
To improve the accuracy and reliability of our models
To comply with legal obligations

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secured servers hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Canada. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services in delivering the Platform:

Google OAuth — for optional sign-in with Google
PropVu — for NOAH Inspect property assessments
Open-Meteo — for weather forecast data displayed on scorecards
Google Maps — for property location and street view display

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. You may also request that we stop using your information for marketing purposes at any time.

Children

The Platform is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
